Solution: Find Medieval II: Total War in your Steam folder; for most people this will be under medieval 2 patch error the directory of: Local Disk (C - Program Files (x86) - Steam - SteamApps - Common - Medieval II Total War.
Are you trying to launch through the Launcher or maybe one of the Desktop icons that are normally installed during installation?
